The 1st Competition Workshop is now behind us
On Wednesday, 11 February, the 1st Competition Workshop took place directly in the existing Kodaňská 4D Center building. The competition teams were introduced to the Competition Site and the Brief.
On Wednesday, 11 February, the 1st Competition Workshop took place directly in the existing Kodaňská 4D Center building. The competition teams were introduced to the Competition Site and the Brief.
The selection of teams advancing to the first phase of the competition took place on 15 January.
The area addressed in the competition is located in Prague 10 Municipal district in the cadastral area of Vršovice. The core of the area is a triangular urban block between Kodaňská, Kavkazská and Moldavská streets, with the Kodaňská 4D Center administrative building dating from the 1960s, formerly the foreign trade enterprise Chemapol-Investa. The new proposal for this site should build upon the surrounding block structure.
For the purpose of the competition, the area is divided into the Competition Site and Competition Area.
The design of the new urban block will be determined through an urban design and architectural competition prepared by the Client, Kodaňská Office Center s.r.o. of the Daramis Group, in cooperation with the City of Prague and the Prague 10 Municipal District.

The public involvement is divided in two parts – during the preparation of the competition in October and November 2025 with public meeting and online questionnaire and also in the Phase 2 of the competition in June 2026 with public consultation of selected proposals.
